3% will be added to the country’s steel production With the opening of Yazd1 project
The Yazd 1 project of Iran Alloy Steel Company was informally inaugurated.
Mohammad Kamalzadeh, managing directorof Iran Alloy Steel Company, announced the unofficial opening of the Yazd 1 project in the closing ceremony of the second national seminar on condition monitoring and troubleshooting of equipment and stated: “After 13 years and considering many challenges , the development process of Yazd 1 project finally on October 19, 1401, its file closed successfully.
According to the managing director of Iran Alloy Steel Company, after 13 years, 14 melts and also the first continuous casting in Yazd 1 factory successfully were done.
Mohammad Kamalzadeh while pointing out that Yazd 1 factory has a capacity of 1 million tons of alloy steel ingots, continued: With the opening of Yazd 1 project, three percent will be  added to the country’s steel production.
