Three power plants will enter the power generation circuit by the end of this year under IMIDRO,s leadership. The power plants will be launched by Mobarakeh, Gole-Gohar and Aluminum Al-Mahdi companies.

According to public relations of IMIDRO, owing to the attitude of supplying electricity for mining and mineral industries by IMIDRO, second phase of Mobarakeh Steel Gas Power Plant, the first unit of Al-Mahdi and Gole-Gohar gas power plants are ready for operation by the end of 1402 (Iranian calendar ).

The total capacity of Mobarakeh Power Plant is 914 MW, and Almahdi Aluminum, and Gole-gohar is 546 MW.

The first phase of the Mobarakeh Steel Power Plant of Isfahan was inaugurated earlier with the presence of the president in October this year.

Implementation of electricity supply policy in the field of mine and mining industries has been operational in line with the MOU between the ministries of industry, mine and trade & Power by IMIDRO, s leadership.
