Iron ore concentrate production of major Iranian mining companies during the first eight months of the current Iranian calendar year (from March 21 to November 21, 2023) increased 3 percent YOY.
According to the report of Public Relations of IMIDRO, Iron ore concentrate production of 10 major Iranian mining companies stood at 33,399,486 tons during the first eight months of the current Iranian year (March 21-November 21, 2023), rise 3 percent YOY.
Gol_e_Gohar Mining and Industrial Complex had the lion’s share with 7,521,208 tons of the total output, followed by Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Complex with 7,039,752 tons, Goharzamin Iron Ore Company with 6,006,551 tons, Middle East Mines and Mining Industries Development Holding Company with 3,104,398 tons, Sangan Mining Industries Company with 2,597,019 tons, Iran Central Iron Ore Company with 2,522,000 tons, Sanabad Development Company with 1,759,318 tons, Opal Parsian Sangan with 1,650,553 tons, Saba Nour Mining and Industrial Development Company with 923,639 tons and Jalalabad Iron ore Company with 275,048 tons.
Iron ore concentrate dispatched up
likewise, Iran’s major mining companies dispatched 12,368,653 tons of Iron ore concentrate during the first eight months of the current Iranian calendar year (from March 21to November 21, 2023), registering a 23 percent growth compared with the corresponding period of the last year.
During the period under review, these companies produced 1,474,954 tons of granulated iron ore, indicating 1 percent decrease YOY.
