The Director of plan & Development of National Iranian Steel Company announced  the ground breaking of special bar quality (SBQ) with a variety of alloys in Mianeh and Ghaenat by the end of this year.

According to the Public Relations of National Iranian Steel Company, Mehdi Derakhshan while announcing the above mentioned subject, added: Based on our plans to supply high alloy steels, two 300,000-ton rolling lines with the possibility of producing different types of rebars will be built and implemented in  Mianeh & Qhaenat Steel Complex.

Regarding the initial measures taken for the construction of these lines, he stated: “The contract for  producing  equipment for Mianeh and Ghaenat is being inked, the equipment are under construction and will be delivered by the middle of next year.”

Derakhshan added: after selecting the consultants for each of these projects, the national tender for selecting the contractor for designing, construction of the shed and office buildings will be held. After the tender, the ground breaking ceremony of both projects will be done by the end of this year.

The Director of plan and Development of National Iranian Steel Company regarding the products of the mentioned projects pointed out: Construction rebar and other qualitative alloys are among the products that will be produced and supplied based on the needs of the market.
