This gas ‎‎power plant‎‎ has been constructed and completed in line with Article 4 of the law on obstruction of the country’s electricity industry and the MoU between the ministries of industry,mine&trade and Power with IMIDRO guidance. According to that legal article and the Memorandum,  it was determined that 10,000 MW of new capacity ‎‎of the power plant‎‎ will be built for industrial and mining use‎‎.‎

‎Now the first unit of Gohar Energy ‎‎Power Plant‎‎ with a production capacity of 183 MW is ready to be ‎‎launched.‎

‎The second unit of the ‎‎power plant‎‎ will be launched by the end of spring of the new year (1403 Iranian calendar ).‎

At the same time, Gol Gohar complex is running a project to build a solar power plant with a capacity of 40 megawatts, of which 10 megawatts have been put into operation recently.
