The vice president of parliament affairs atated: the project for the construction of Bijar sponge iron plant with 150 million euros of investment is  in process. ‎

‎  Seyed Mohammad Hosseini,  stated: “The supreme Leader always emphasizes the use of capacities, the role and optimal management of Kurdestan Steel Industries Company is on the path to fulfilling his excellency orders.while emphasizing the realization of this year’s slogan (Surge in Production Through People’s Participation), he declared: “To realize the slogan of the year, we must work in the field of production, because in fact, production is the key to solve many problems.” The vice president of parliament affairs, pointing out that fortunately the semi-finished projects in Kurdestan province are being completed, he said: “We hope that in the near future, the plans for Kurdestan Steel will be inaugurated by the president.” He continued: “The government is trying to solve the problems of the city of Bijar.
