The European ‎‎ Union faces multiple challenges in supplying sustainable energy sources, and coal remains on the agenda as an emergency option.‎‎Coal futures prices return in China‎‎On July 26, coal futures prices in China recovered after falling a day earlier, driven by improved economic sentiment.‎‎The increase in prices was due to the closure of numerous short-term positions in the market, as well as the announcement of economic stimulus packages by China.‎‎China’s central bank lowered the one-year lending rate, and the National Development and Reform Commission announced it would allocate 300 billion yuan to accelerate trade programs and modernize large equipment‎.
