‎Referring to the plans of this organization in the new management period, the Deputy of Geology of this organization said: “The main mission of the Geological Survey of Iran is to prepare geological maps of the country, and this task is still pursued as a fixed and pivotal mission‎.

According to Mine News, Dr. Reza Shahbazi stated: “The most important difference compared to previous periods is the quantitative increase in the production of geological maps on a scale of one fifty thousandths.” ‎

‎ ‎‎ He noted: “The amount of annual production is supposed to increase up to five times, and at the same time, the quality of the drawings will be maintained and even improved.” ‎

‎ ‎‎ The Deputy of Geology of the Geological Survey of Iran continued: “One of our strategies to achieve this goal is the use of new technologies, especially artificial intelligence algorithms, in the preparation of maps, which is currently one of the focus of the organization.”‎
