Exports from the mine and mining industries sector increased by more than $4.1 billion in the first 4 months of 1404. (Iranian Calendar)

According to the public relations of National Iranian Steel Company, quoting the public relations of IMIDRO, from the beginning of Farvardin to the end of Tir this year, 23 million 774 thousand and 263 tons of various products from the mine and mining industries sector, worth 4 billion and 132 million dollars, were exported. This figure was 20 million 895 thousand and 68 tons, worth 4 billion and 319 million dollars, in the same period last year.

The comparison of the mentioned statistics indicates an increase of about 14% in “tonnage” and a decrease of 4% in exports. The highest exports in the first four months of 1404 were related to the production chain of three products, including steel, aluminum, and copper, totaling 14 million 271 thousand and 275 tons with a value of 3 billion 243 million dollars. In comparison to the exports of the same period last year (11 million 18 thousand 392 tons valued at 3 billion 385 million dollars), there was a 30% increase in weight and a 4% decrease in value.
