Sefid Dasht Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari steel company produced more than 518,000 tons of sponge iron in the first half of 1404 (Iranian calendar) shows 106% of the production plan and a 6% increase compared to last year. Additionally, with the successful implementation of the first phase of steelmaking and casting, the company produced about 70,000 tons of slabs.

Company managers stated: reaching 64% of the annual sponge iron production capacity in just the first half of the year present the employees’ strong will to sustain production growth. With the official inauguration of the steelmaking and casting unit by the President, Sefid Dasht Steel is ready to increase slab production capacity by relying on domestic capabilities and addressing energy constraints.
