Miyaneh Steel Complex, with an annual production capacity of 800,000 tons and a metallization degree higher than defined standards, plays an important role in supplying raw materials to the country’s steel industries by offering 100% of its products on the commodity exchange, and continues to move on the path of increasing production and continuous development.
The complex’s upcoming plans include increasing production capacity, improving product quality, and developing infrastructure in order to register new records in production and export.

Miyaneh Steel Complex is one of the successful projects in Iran’s steel industry that, by utilizing indigenous technologies and purposeful management, has been able to secure an important position in the country’s steel production chain. Abdi then referred to some of the most significant key achievements of this complex:
– Production of over 5 million tons of sponge iron since the operation began, showing the complex’s stable performance and high production capacity.
– Using Iranian PERED technology in the direct reduction unit, which has been developed through the Iranian specialists’ efforts and registered in international associations.
– Direct access to the Northwest railway line of the country led to a significant reduction in transportation costs and an increase in logistics efficiency.
– Proximity to Tabriz industrial hub and neighboring countries, which has provided wide export opportunities for steel products.
-Planning for the completion and operation of the steelmaking unit with an annual production capacity of 800,000 tons of steel billets as soon as possible, aiming to prevent exporting raw materials, develop subsequent SBQ phases, and increase production capacity to achieve sustainable growth and play a significant role in domestic and international markets.
