Samiei Nejad announced: IMIDRO’s strategic support for the development of mines and mining industries / Emphasis on reducing the risk of exploration investments (quoted by IMIDRO)
Dr. Mohammad Masoud Samiei Nejad, Deputy Minister, speaking at the meeting of the Private Sector-Government Dialogue Council in the Tabriz Chamber of Commerce, noted: “Active licenses related to the copper sector will be purposefully entered into the development cycle, and if gold and copper mines are available to the private sector, the possibility of active and effective entry into this field is provided.”
Exploration Licenses’ support
The Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade declared: We have a program to renovate machinery in the exploration sector and added: “To reduce investment risk, discovery licenses will become lower-risk through technical and financial support, and the necessary guarantees will be provided via the National Insurance Fund.”
In another part of his speech, Samiei Nejad referred to the steel chain and said, “By order of the minister of industry, mine and trade, pricing methods for the steel chain on the Commodity Exchange will be implemented with the necessary facilities, in order to strengthen transparency and fairness in the market for this strategic product.”
In conclusion, Samiei Nejad, while emphasizing IMIDRO’s role in removing production barriers, stated: “As the designated entity for the mining sector, we are alongside industry and mining activists to pave the way for sustainable and job-creating development in the country through synergy and operational support.”
