According to Nisco’s public relations, (quoted from Azerbaijan Steel Company), Hassan Younesian, Managing Director of National Iranian Steel Company, accompanied by his delegation, as well as Mehdi Esmaeili,Mianeh’s honorable representative in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, visited the implementation and progress of Phase 3 of the melting section of Azerbaijan Steel Company.

This visit, was attended by a group of senior managers, officials, and project engineers, conducted and aimed to review closely the latest technical, executive, and scheduling status of this major national industrial project.

During this visit Younesian, appreciated the continuous and tireless efforts of those involved and the contractors of this project and emphasized the need for timely and high-quality implementation of Phase 3 in order to achieve the macro goals of the country’s steel industry.

He further added: “The appropriate progress of this phase will play a significant role in increasing production capacity, creating sustainable employment, and developing the region’s economy, and is an important step towards a surge in production and strengthening the country’s steel value chain.”

Subsequently, Esmaeili, the representative of the people of Mianeh in the Islamic Consultative Assembly also appreciated and thanked the project’s management and executive teams and stressed the need for continuous follow-up and timely removal of obstacles to further accelerate this national project.

In case of operation, this project will play a significant role in increasing the production of steel products and meeting the needs of downstream industries in the region and the country.
