The head of IMIDRO organization came to National  Iranian Steel Company in his fourth visit .

According to the Public Relations of National Iranian Steel Company, during the visit accompanied by the consultants, deputies and experts of IMIDRO , he attended in a specialized meeting  by the managing director, members of the board, deputies and experts of the National Iranian Steel Company, while getting acquainted with the national steel company closely and the current affairs of Nisco.

According to this report, at the beginning of the meeting, Mohammad AghaJanlou presented a report on the performance of National Iranian Steel Company and kept the head of IMIDRO informed , about  the company’s history, management and leadership of seven steel projects and  other affairs.

Managing Director of National Iranian Steel Company in his report stated about  the key role and development of this company in establishing the steel industry and the development and equipping of the main mines of the country in the past years, and explained  the status of the seven projects ,issues and problems facing these plans.

Pointing out that seven direct reduction projects have been put into operation and three steel making units Sepid Dasht, Neyriz, Ghaenat and 2nd Reduction Unit of Baft by the end of this year, he stated: “By exploiting these units, more than 2 million and 500 thousand tons of steel will be added to the country’s production capacity.”

Managing Director of National Iranian Steel Company explained the status of eight other projects and the progress and problems of these projects that were led to this company last year.

Mohammad Aghajanlou pointed to structural and expert challenges of the steel complex of the country and called for structural reform and strengthening of the expert forces in the steel chain of the country (from employer to consultant and contractor).
