The director of the strategic planning studies office of Iran National Steel Company announced: Studies for the construction of the power plant have started in this company. According to the public relations report of National Iran Steel Company, Ahmad Ahmadi, on the sidelines of the signing ceremony for the purchase of electricity from the self-supplying power plant of Qods Semnan, added: “The power cut for steel companies in the past years and this year made us at the headquarters of this company come to the conclusion that we must supply the required electricity.” We should build a power plant for our subordinate units to solve this big problem of the mentioned units forever, therefore, the necessary studies to carry out this important work have been started in Iran National Steel Company and we hope that these studies will be completed by the first half of this year. Director of Strategic Planning Studies Office of National Iranian Steel Company added: During the past years, due to power cuts in steel complexes, the amount of production was reduced to the amount of 300 thousand tons of products, therefore, for this summer season and to supply the electricity deficit of the complexes of Qaenat, Middle and Azerbaijan, Semnan’s Quds power plant will provide electricity. We have purchased the required amount so that the production of these units will not be harmed. Ahmadi added: With the conclusion of the contract with the Quds plant in Semnan, fortunately, the subsidiary units will not have power cuts this year and the production level will remain the same.
