Abbas Aliabadi on the sidelines of the visit to IRIB News Agency stated : “The first act in the field of mining and mineral extraction is to identify the exploration zones,  we need to know where we have minerals, and the need for this is to prepare  the mineral atlas.”

The Minister also considered the supply of raw materials needed by the country’s industries as one of the functions of the mineral atlas, stating : “It is also important to know what we do not have and from which country we should  buy , and this need will be solved with the mineral atlas.”

He then added that the goal is to increase the efficiency of the mines, and in order to achieve the desired efficiency of the mines, we have to update the technology.

He stated that we should use new technology to make production prices cheaper.
