According to Public Relations of IMIDRO , these plans include the construction of new exploitation pools with an investment of 4,800 billion rials, construction of a mineral pumping station with an investment of 2 thousand billion rials, and construction of a pipeline for transferring minerals (brine) to new pools with a length of 8 km with an investment of 900 billion Rials.
In order to implement these plans, more than 7,700 billion rials will be  spent by the  leadership management of the potash complex. Visiting the NPK fertilizer combined  plant and potash production plant, cascade and salt village were among the other programs.So far, 1300 billion rials has been spent for the factory under construction of granulated fertilizers  with 70% improvement . in the first five months of this year the Khor and Biabanak potash complex produced 23,676 tonnes of potash that indicates more than 36 percent growth compared to the same period last year.
Khor and Biabanak potash complex, as the only potash producer in the country, is located 25 km east of Khoor and Biabanak city
