The price of imported scrap in East Asia due to the mid-autumn holiday was a quiet week, with the average price in Taiwan at $363 to $373 per ton CFR. Heavy scrap of 20-80 containers dropped by $369 per ton of CFR.
The latest bid prices up to $375 per tonne of CFR have been noticed and market participants believe future price trends are not clear.
