Ahmad Ahmadi, manager of Strategic Planning of National Iranian Steel Company regarding the supply of needed electricity for National Iranian Steel Company, stated: It’s been a while we are facing some limitations in the supply of electricity, and according to the agreement signed between the Ministry of industry, mine &trade and Ministry of Energy, the amount of produced electricity will be increased and the country’s electricity deficit will be compensated, hoping that by the end of the year we would see a 10% increase in the productions of the units.
Regarding the utilization of technology of the day in steel industry ,he declared: in National Iranian Steel Company in co-operation with Sharif University from six years ago, we worked on the technologies of the day and using them in the whole steel chain including private, semi-private and public sectors is under process.
Manager of Strategic Planning added:”In this way, sanctions, makes us benefit from knowledge-based companies and domestic capabilities of the country.”
Ahmadi pointed out that most of the companies with emphasis on domestic production are trying to use modern technologies, for example, Mobarakeh Steel Company is pursuing the development of equipment digitalization, and in subsidiaries units of National Iranian Steel Company, the promotion of new technologies is being completely considered, in this regard we define the problem for knowledge-based companies so that they can create the technologies of the day.
