Ground- breaking Ceremony of Chadormalu’s 100MW Solar Power plant was held by attendance of Mohammadreza Movassaqinia chairman of the board of IMIDRO in Yazd Province.
According to the report of public relations of IMIDRO, Amirali Taherzadeh, CEO of Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company, Hesam Moghadamali and Somayeh Kholusi, IMIDRO’s deputies and some provincial officials took part in ground breaking ceremony for Chadormalu’s solar power plant with 100 MW capacity.
The project was defined in 150 hectares’ area and €60 million investment at Ashkezar county in Yazd province.
The energy production of the power plant will be more than 190 million kilowatt hours per year. The construction period of the power plant will be 16 months plus three months of trial operation.
One of the environmental benefits of implementing this project is to reduce the production of 115 thousand tons of greenhouse gas per year.
During construction period, the project will lead to 400 direct and 250 indirect employments.
