In Turkey’s scrap import market, the latest average heavy scrap price of 20-80 has risen daily to $5.5 per ton CFR. Deals for U.S. and European scrap have been finalized in recent days، ranging from $357 to $5 for heavy scrap.

On the other hand, the growth in scrap prices forced factories to raise the price of rebar and could face a decline in rebar demand. Market participants were not waiting for scrap price growth and believe the recovery is not sustainable.
