During the president’s second visit to Kurdistan, the Minister of Economy visited the Kurdistan Steel Project in Qhorveh.

According to Public Relations of Kurdistan Steel, our Steel Chain in the field of iron ore is one of the most important projects in the province, which can create a major transformation in the region’s industry.

According to Mohammad Reza Ahmadi, managing director of Kurdistan Steel Industries Company, this plan is in the form of 48 projects driving the country, which will be operational with a foreign investment of 323 million euros and 7 trillion tomans in year 1406 iranian calender.

According to this report, the steel production unit of Qhorveh, has the capacity to produce one million tons of hot rolled steel sheets per year, and its employment rate is 1,500 people,

IMIDRO holding 44% of the company’s shares and the rest belongs to Iran Metals and Mines Development Investment Company.
