Pellet production of major Iranian mining companies witnessed 10 percent growth during the first seven months of the current Iranian calendar year (from March 21 to October 22, 2023).

Pellet Production Jumps 10 % in March_Oct 2023 Period

According to the report of Public Relations of IMIDRO, nine major Iranian mining companies produced 23,626,227 tons of pellets during the first seven months of the current Iranian year (March 21-October 22, 2023), rise 10 percent YOY.

Gol_e_Gohar Mining and Industrial Complex has the lion’s share with 6,940,234 tons of the total output, followed by Middle East Mines and Mining Industries Development Holding Company with 3,091,369 tons, Goharzamin Iron Ore Company with 2,943,876 tons, Sangan Mining Industries Company with 2,753,087 tons, Iran Central Iron Ore Company with 2,437,590 tons, Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Complex with 2,283,880 tons, Opal Parsian Sangan with 1,898,879 tons, Sanabad Development Company with 1,024,751 tons and Saba Nour Mining and Industrial Development Company with 252,561 tons.

Furthermore, Iran’s major mining companies dispatched 17,568,806 tons of iron ore pellet during the first seven months of the current Iranian calendar year (from March 21 to October 22, 2023), indicating a 78 percent growth compared with the corresponding period of the last year.
