‎According to the statistical report of the steel association in 10 months of this year, the apparent consumption of middle steel (billet, bloom and slab) reached 20 million and 780 thousand tons.‎

‎In the middle steel sector, 12 million and 581 thousand tons of billet and bloom apparent consumption  and 8 million and 199 thousand tons of apparent consumption of slabs were seen. Billet and Bloom’s apparent consumption increased by 10.6 percent and the apparent consumption of slabs decreased by 6 percent.‎

‎In the statistical report of the steel association, the apparent consumption growth of flat steel sections is positive 4.7% and the apparent growth in long steel sections is – 2.6%.‎

‎The apparent consumption of flat sections has been 7 million and 967 thousand tons, which is 7 million and 259 thousand tons of hot sheets, 2 million 453 tons of cold sheet and 1 million and 619 tons of covered sheets. The apparent consumption of hot sheets decreased by 0.7 percent, the apparent consumption of cold sheets increased by 11.9 percent and the apparent consumption of coated sheet increased by 18.0 percent.‎

‎In 10 months of this year, the apparent consumption of Beams increased by 5.4 percent compared to the same period last year to 992 thousand tons, and the apparent consumption of rebar has decreased by 3.8 percent to 6 million and 735 thousand tons. The apparent consumption of slops, studs and other long steel sections had a 0.9 percent decline.‎

‎The apparent consumption of sponge iron according to the Steel Association has increased by 7.3 percent to 28 million and 727 thousand tons.‎
