Following the stages of launching the steel making unit of Shadegan Steel Industry Company, the first melting of the electric arc furnace was successfully completed on February 14, 1402.‎

‎According to Public Relations of Foolad Sanat Shadegan، at this stage، more than 80 tons of molten steel in the first hot test furnace and all mechanical، electrical، instrumentation equipment، and in compliance with all standards، in coordination with the client، contractor and consultant team of the site was successfully put into operation. ‎

‎ According to this report, the first smelting process of the steel making of Shadegan Steel Industry Co, attended by Amin Ebrahimi, managing director of Khuzestan Steel Company, executive vice president of Khouzestan Steel Co., Hossein Kahzad, managing director of Foolad Shadegan, Mahmoud Landi, chairman of the board of directors of the company, along with all engineers, experts, technical workers of the employer and contractor, was successfully completed.‎
