Head of Planning and Strategic Studies of National Iranian Steel Company stated: major and large scale steel projects, power plants and smart consumption are approved by the “think tank” of NISCO can be mentioned as : coal gasification projects, construction of a self-sufficient solar power plant, heat recovery in the steel chain and smart consumption. It is worth mentioning that the continuation of the project approval process is being followed in IMIDRO.
While referring to the goals of this department, he added: Among the goals and specified assignments for this management , strategic studies, preparation of development projects and monitoring of the comprehensive plan of the steel industry of the country, effective management of organizational creativity and innovation (think tank), redesigning the processes of the company and promoting management and participatory systems can be pointed.
Head of Planning and Strategic Studies department of National Iranian Steel Company pointed out: In order to achieve the mentioned goals, significant measures have been taken in this management in 1402 ( Iranian calendar ), as follows:
1- In the steel master plan studies field, seasonal monitoring of this plan was carried out and reports of each season were made available to industry beneficiaries.
2- This management, as caretaker of the planning department of the company, has monitored and evaluated the performance of various management based on the predetermined objectives of the company and has provided periodic reports on this matter to the beneficiaries.
3- In the section on organizational excellence, the model of IMIDRO Productivity Award which was selected as the appropriate model of productivity in 1401( Iranian calendar ) during the past year by registering in the pioneer sector ) was being developed .
4- In the strategy section of the company, last year the company’s strategy and processes were being updated &redesigned in accordance with the changes of previous years.
Seyed Mohsen Hashemi regarding the management’s plans for next year, noted: the following year, all of our actions will be in accordance with the company’s vision and mission and besides continuing the activities of last year, we will focus on attracting operational projects and new opportunities to overcome the challenges of the country’s steel industry.
