Iran International Engineering Company (IRITEC), as the EPC contractor for the construction of the Ghorveh steel factory and continuous hot rolling of steel sheet, executed the contract for the construction and equipping of this national pioneer project with a foreign manufacturing company.‎

‎In this meeting, which was held in the presence of Dr. Rostamizadeh, the head of Kurdistan Steel Industries Company,) the employer of this project(, and Dr. Mostaghimi, Managing Director of Iran International Engineering Company (IRITEC), along with the project management team of that company, as well as an official representative and a group of experts of the foreign construction company in the main building of IRITEC, the engineering activity and implementation of the production line of the project were officially started .‎

IRITEC, has already carried out excavation, embankment&digging operations for 90 hectares of land allocated for this project due to the construction of office, firefighting, clinic, warehouses, laboratories, etc.

It ‎‎should be noted that the Ghorveh Steel  making& continuous hot rolling of steel sheet   Factory is one of the 48 national pioneer projects which can provide a significant part of the country’s need for this strategic product with the capacity of producing one million tons of thin steel sheet per year.

The construction of this factory in Kurdistan province, regarding the needs and important location of this province, in addition to completing the steel value chain, can be the beginning of the growth and prosperity of this ancient land by creating employment for 1,200 people directly and up to 12000 people indirectly.‎
