The 10-megawatt solar power plant of Ghadir Neyriz Steel Complex in order to solve some of the energy imbalances, is ready to be used.

‎ In order to realize the sustainable development and the supply of energy to be used in the production lines, the mentioned complex purchased the shares of the 10-megawatt Kooshk solar power plant in Yazd province.‎

‎Ghadir ‎‎Neyriz Steel‎‎ Complex, in order to continue its strategic policies for the sustainability of energy resources and reducing the effects of electricity imbalances, has purchased the shares of Kooshk Solar Power Plant from Ghadir Mines Solar Development Company. This power plant, which is located in one of the best parts of Yazd province in terms of the intensity and time of sunlight, has been built with an area of 10 hectares and using high-quality equipment and international standards.‎

‎With 26,500 photovoltaic panels, Kooshk Power Plant is capable of producing at least 20,000 MWh of electricity annually.‎

‎The action of Ghadir Neyriz Steel Company in investing in the field of renewable energy, in addition to the sustainability of energy resources, is a response to the legal requirements of Article 16 of the Knowledge-Based surge in Production Law and attention to the preservation of natural resources in the path of economic development.‎
