‎ Engineer Mohammad Aghajanloo during a visit to the construction plan of ‎‎the Bijar sponge iron‎‎ factory, stated: “Imidro will provide financial support until the completion of this Mega module (‎‎Bijar sponge iron‎‎) as well as the chain projects of the Kurdistan Steel Industries Company until its full operation.” ‎

‎ He continued: “The construction plan of ‎‎Bijar Sponge Iron‎‎ Factory, as one of the national leading projects, has achieved 41% progress and is proceeding according to the schedule.” ‎

‎ In this visit, which was carried out in the presence of the governor and local officials of the city of Bijar, Karim Rostamizadeh, Managing Director of the Kurdistan Steel Industries Company,  explained the progress of the project. ‎

‎ ‎‎Bijar Sponge Iron‎‎ Factory is supposed to complete the steel value chain in Kurdistan province by producing 1.6 million tons of sponge iron per year.‎
