According to the Public Relations of National Iranian Steel Company (NISCO), quoting the Public Relations of Sepid dasht steel complex,With the help of Almighty God and relying on the efforts and proficiency of the honarable employees, consultants and contractors of Sepid dasht steel complex, the first slab production was successfully carried out in the form of two consecutive melts in January of the current Iranian year (Surge in Production Through People’s Participation).‎

Mahmoud Mohammadi Fesharaki, Managing Director of Sepid dasht steel complex ,stated: “With the efforts of the steelmaking& casting unit staff, the necessary planning was made in order to pass from single-melt to double-melt production in this unit, and this was proudly implemented on January 1 and 3.”‎(two Times)

He considered the production of slabs in the form of multiple melts as a necessity for the continuation of the production of steel ingots in the continuous smelting and casting units and declared: Without the  multiple smelting, which is known as sequences in the steel industry, continuous and economical production of slabs would not be possible‎‎.‎

‎Iman Soleimani, operation manager of the company, while appreciating the round-the-clock efforts of the company’s employees, consultants and contractors in order to achieve this valuable success and referring to the activities carried out regarding the removal of the existing defects in the steelmaking and casting units in the past 9 months by the company’s trust and contractual staff, the board of directors, Mobarakeh Steel Company, Imidro and the National Iranian Steel Company, emphasized the importance of producing slab ingots in several forms, from an economic and process point of view
