The production of iron concentrate of major mining companies during the 8 months of 1403 (Iranian calendar) increased by 2% and reached about 33 million tons.
According to the Public Relations of the Iranian Mines and Mineral Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO), 10 major mining companies produced about 32,946,674 tons of iron concentrate from the beginning of April to the end of November. This production was 32,384,466 tons in the same period last year.
companies: “Gol Gohar” (8,251,575 tons), “Chadormalu” (5,932,819 tons), “Gohar Zamin” (5,366,435 tons), “Sangan Steel” (3,51,422 tons), “Middle East Mines and Mineral Industries Development” (2,963,451 tons), “Markazi” (2,256,621 tons), and “Opal Parsian” (1,933,884 tons) Sanabad produced 1,801,083 tons, Sabanour 1,87,543 tons, and Jalalabad 301,841 tons of iron ore concentrate.
6% increase in iron ore extraction
Large mining companies extracted 62,451,863 tons of iron ore during the first eight months of this year, which shows an increase of about 6% compared to the same period last year (59,131,988 tons).
