The oxygen plant of  Ghaenat steel complex was launched by the experts of this complex and Iritec Company. This project has the capacity to produce 5,500 normal cubic meters per hour of oxygen. ‎

‎ The main purpose of the oxygen plant is to separate oxygen, nitrogen, and argon gases in the air for industrial use, quoting to Imidro’s public relations.

‎ Putting into operation of this plant, whose production process is carried out in four stages: “purification and condensation of air”, “pre-cooling and removal of air pollutants such as water vapor, carbon dioxide and other hydrocarbons”, “cooling of process compressed air” and “converting it into liquid – distillation of liquid air to produce oxygen, nitrogen and argon”. ‎

‎ This process was successfully accomplished with the first production of Liquid Oxygen (LOX) with 99.6% analysis in Ghaenat Steel Complex. ‎

‎ The oxygen unit of Ghaenat Steel Complex with the highest level of accuracy and without any error, was launched for the first time by Iranian experts of Iritec Engineering Company without the presence of foreign experts. ‎

‎ This achievement is a big step towards the industrial self-sufficiency of the country and presentation of capabilities of domestic companies in the implementation of complicated and specialized projects.‎
