Iran the Fifth Country in the World with Mineral Reserves / Geological Survey Organization’s Plans for this Year

The Senior Advisor to the Head of the Geological Survey and Mineral Exploration Organization of Iran announced:  Iran ranks as the fifth country in the world in terms of mineral reserves with 27.3 trillion dollars mineral wealth.

 Dr. Hossein Shariat madar Tehrani stated: the preparation of 120 geological maps and the commencement of aerial geophysics over a distance of 2 million kilometers to obtain data on Iran’s underground reserves are among the programs on the agenda of this organization this year.

 He continued: “These data provide a suitable platform for the entry of geologists and investors to take action for the extraction and also launching valuable mining industries.”
