The hard-working employees of the continuous steelmaking and casting unit of Hormozgan Steel Company registered a new record in monthly production in April this year (Iranian calendar )with the production of 165,487 tons of slabs. The previous record was 163,199 tons. ‎

‎ ‎‎ Also, in this month, new records were recorded in the number of melts discharged from furnaces (2016 melting), furnace No. 2 (713 melting) and casting (2013 melting). ‎

‎‎‎ In the direct reduction unit, the production of sponge iron reached a new record by reaching 173,152 tons. Module A also improved its record with the production of 88,397 tons. ‎
