The Head of the Executive Committee of the Second International Mineral Processing Researchers Symposium  (IMPRS 2025)  stated:

 This international symposium, supported by IMIDRO, will be held from May 19th to 21st, 2025 (Ordibehesht 29th to 31st, Iranian Calendar) at the Mineral Processing Research Center of Iran.

Ziaeddin Pourkarimi declared:  this Symposium  aims to exchange information and scientific findings on mineral processing methods, mineralogy and mineral identification, as well as synergize and consolidate domestic and international scientific and industrial capacities to solve key challenges.

He added that other goals of this symposium include creating a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experiences among experts and opinion leaders in this field, empowering specialists and improving the required skills in mineral processing, and examining new opportunities and collaborations in this area.
