For the first time in the country, the Iranian company  MMTE  attained the technical know-how of designing, modernizing, and optimizing  EAF furnaces & ladles in the steel industry.‎

‎According to Public Relations of Imidro, Mehrdad Naji while stating the above news in a press conference, added: Due to the existence of some international obstacles and restrictions and the the country’s mining and steel industries difficulties to access the technical knowledge required for the development and improvement of projects, “MMTE”  as the technical and engineering arm of the Iranian Mines and Mineral Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) and also with the support of With its technical ability and experienced human capital, to create technological self-sufficiency in the development of the steel value chain has now succeeded in realizing the Iranization of the technical knowledge of arc and ladle furnace design in the steel industry‎‎. ‎
