Chairman of the executive board of directors of IMIDRO stated: By determining the optimal production level and  to maximize the use of its resources, Mobarakeh Steel Co should create the conditions to increase its efficiency and productivity .

According to IMIDRO’s Public Relations, Mohammad Aghajanlou, in a project control meeting of Mobarakeh Steel Company attended by Managing Director of Mobarakeh Steel Co and the deputies and managers of IMIDRO, added: Controlling the various sections of the production chain paves the way to benefit from competitive advantages and this issue should be considered in the missions of Mobarakeh Steel Co and other companies.

 This company, in line with global macro trends, should determine the company’s advantage within the steel chain & evaluate performance in its investments.

The Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade, regarding the company’s legal matters stated that the shareholders of Mobarakeh Steel should be informed and continued: This organization should manage issues such as controlling the human resourses in terms of number of personnel,  foreign exchange needs planning, minimum supply, and matters related to imports and exports within the framework of a documented plan.

In continuation of the meeting, the Managing Director of Mobarakeh Steel Co stated: This year,investment in exploration is among the main programs of this steelmaker, and exploration zones in the east of the country are part of the company’s operational plan.

Saeed Zarandi categorizes the companies in the Mobarakeh Steel group according to their functions as one of the company’s actions and stated: According to this planning, similar companies have been grouped, and key projects of Mobarakeh Steel are monitored weekly for execution.

Furthermore, a 10% reduction in energy consumption resulting from smart projects has been targeted for this year.

managing Director of Mobarakeh Steel Co,while stating that the current total number of ongoing development projects at Mobarakeh is 114 , added: The construction of Hot Rolling Mill 2, a 914 MW combined cycle power plant, a colored coil line, and the construction of an alloy sheet rolling line are among the strategic projects of Mobarakeh Steel.

Zarandi added: Energy restriction (electricity and gas), problems with order registration, increased supply and demand, and price reductions in the global market are among the challenges faced by this steelmaker.
