The capacity and production of the global copper chain (concentrate and refined) increased in the second month of 2025.
According to the Public Relations of imidro, the International Copper Studies Group (ICSG) in its new report stated: Global copper activists produced about 4 million and 590 thousand tons of refined copper in February 2025. This figure was 4,549,000 tons in the same period in 2024, which indicates an increase of about 9 percent.
The production capacity of refined copper factories in the world during the mentioned month was 5 million and 560 thousand tons, which increased by about 5.9 percent compared to last year’s statistics (5 million and 249 thousand tons).
