The President intervene in the issue of power outages for industries

The secretary of the Iranian Steel Producers Association, criticized the recent decision by the Ministry of Interior to impose a 90% electricity restriction on the steel and cement industries and stated: “We expect the President or the First Vice President to intervene in the matter  by cancelling the recent decree and open the discourse of supporting production.”

Rasoul khalife soltani Secretary of the Iranian Steel Producers Association, expressed concern over the Ministry of Interior’s decision to impose a 90% electricity restriction on the steel and cement industries and declared: such a decision will have irreparable consequences, ranging from the employment of workers to disruptions in producers’ commitments in both the domestic and export markets.
