The Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade, while emphasizing that there has been no change in the ministry’s definite policy of maximum support of domestically produced goods by a variety of methods, stated: “The Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade, as in previous years, will use various methods to support domestically produced goods, one of which is the ban on the import of similar foreign goods and combating their smuggling.”‎

‎According to a report by IRNA‎‎ from the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade,  Seyyed Mohammad Atabak while considering the Supreme Leader’s special support for the strategic issue of production over many years to be an unique asset for the prosperity of the Iranian economy and the producer community, especially industrialists, declared: “The Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade in the 14th government is also focusing on continuing and strengthening various policies and tools to support domestic production.”
