In a meeting of managers of major mining companies & mineral industries with the First Vice President and the Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade

Aghajanlou announced the three demands of the mining industries from the government/”Removing the shock of electricity and gas costs”, “directing the company’s profit towards development” and “Participation of the National Development Fund in transferring water from the Sea of Oman”.

‎According to the IMIDRO’s Public Relations , in this meeting, which was held in the presence of Seyyed Mohammad Atabak, Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade, Aghajanlou emphasized: “Creating a solution to eliminate the price shocks of electricity & gas”, “directing the profits of large companies towards development” and “the participation of the National Development Fund in the project of transferring the water of the Sea of Oman to the country” are among the main and demands of mining companies and mining industries from the government.‎

‎The Chairman of the Executive Board of Directors of Imidro, while stating the position of mine and mining industries in the country’s economy, added: “This sector has a share of 20% of the total value added of the industry and 26% in the country’s employment, therefor this doubles the need of paying attention in order to achieve the directives of the supreme leader & the goals of the Seventh Plan.”‎
