IMIDRO’s Chairman of the Executive Board of Directors declared: Regarding Iran’s geographical location and the existing production capacity in the country’s mine & mining industries sector, the volume of exports can be increased by 30 to 40 percent.
Quotting IMIDRO’s public relations, Mohammad Aghajanlou, speaking at the “Review of Obstacles of the Mineral Products Chain Exporting” held in the conference hall of the “Donya-e-Eghtesad” media group, noted: “The existence of rich mineral and energy resources, as well as developed and trained human resources through years, are among the most important capacities in the field of mining and its related industries.”
He added: “The mentioned capacities enabled the country’s mining sector and its related industries to continue operating during the 12-day imposed war. Nevertheless, it is now expected that government bureaucracy will be reduced and greater decisions to be made.”
Aghajanlou while pointing out that foreign exchange earnings by relying on the capacities &importance of the mine and mining industries sector, stated:
Currently, the Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade is following up on facilitating exports in order to provide more foreign exchange. Solutions such as special permits or barter can improve export performance and meet the country’s needs.
He continued: The country’s capacities are high, and due to the significant advantages of neighboring several countries and having access to marine borders, we have a good opportunity for exports. Export development is reachable weather the government acts faster in providing energy and facilitating exports.
