The Turkish Ministry of Commerce announced that the trade tariffs on a number of goods, including steel products, between Turkey and Qatar have been zeroed.
According to SteelOrbis and as reported by Chilan, the Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement between Turkey and Qatar, signed on November 26, 2018, will officially come into effect on August 1, 2025.
With this agreement, known as TEPA in short, Turkey and Qatar will eliminate customs duties and equivalent measures on trade of certain products.
Steel products such as hot-rolled coil, galvanized sheet, cold-rolled coil, steel bars, profiles, stainless steel products, rebar with a diameter of 10 mm or less, galvanized steel pipes and profiles, and spiral welded pipes are also included in the list of products
