A major North African steelmaker has partnered with German companies aiming to produce green steel.

According to Chilan, quoting Steel Orbis, LISCO, the Libyan Iron and Steel Company, as one of the largest steelmakers in North Africa, inked two contracts with German companies. The first company, SMS Group, specializes in the construction of factories, and the second, Pitek Energy, specializes in providing solutions related to green energy.
