Ebrahim Mollabeigi while pointing to the existence of challenges in the international cooperation model with leading countries in the mining sector due to sanctions, stated: the development of regional cooperation and the formation of mining consortiums with neighboring countries in the field of exploration and processing of minerals is necessary.(According to IRNA)

Regarding the international cooperation models of the Geological Survey Organization he noted: “Basically, in the severe sanctions conditions of the country, international cooperation models with leading countries in the mining sector, including the United States, Canada, Australia, and Europe, naturally face many challenges.”

Mollabeigi added: “The sanctions have caused us to face numerous problems even in the purchase of equipment that has dual uses; both in terms of price and in purchase process.
