IMIDRO’s Chairman of the Executive Boards of Directors visited the construction site of the Gol Gohar-Shiraz railway project. This project is considered as one of the important and strategic plans in the development of the country’s mineral transportation chain.
According to public relations of NISCO quoting IMIDRO’s public relations, Mohammad Masoud Samiei Nejad, while reviewing the project’s execution progress, evaluated the challenges and obstacles facing the plan and discussed various solutions with managers and executive officials to accelerate construction operations.
Deputy Minister stated: IMIDRO, in cooperation with major mining companies and private-sector investors, will devote all its efforts to removing the obstacles to the progress of this project.
This project, in addition to reducing the transportation costs of mineral materials, creates the conditions for a surge and improves the productivity and sustainable development of the country’s steel and mining industries’ supply chain.
Ali Nikzad, Deputy Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, and Hossein-Ali Amiri, Governor of Fars also attended in this visit.
